Transfer to Phato District of Chumphon for rafting.

Ride the raft at your ease along the gentle Lang Suan River. The easy 90 minute rafting trip goes on five km. of steam that runs through wilderness of Chumphon. Each stop on the way is also filled up with interesting stories of the river and its relationship with local people. During harvest seasons, rafters can stop by and pick up fresh fruits from the orchards lining the water way.

Remark : Each raft is good for seven passengers and a staff.

Leave for cruise trip in Ranong Province.

Arrive Ranong Customs Pier.

Get on board the Royal Andaman (www.facebook.com/theroyalandamanranong). The century old ferry rides you back to the last era during the glory day of tin mining in Ranong. The cruise imitates atmosphere of the old days when King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) cruised a royal visit to Malay Peninsula. Dress up in Ranong traditional attire and enjoy the elegant cruise as well as fine dining among great sunset view of Andaman Sea.

Highlight of the evening is the “Loy Prok Prao”. It is similar to “Loy Kratong”, but Ranong sea gypsy uses coconut shells which is filled with a flower and completed with a lighten candle. They float away the shells to thank their Water Goddess and for bless of their life.

Lunch at the homestay, then learn how villager can protect the sea. The homestay plays its role to conserve marine life in Chumphon. For years, local materials such as coconut leaves and bamboo are used to make fish shelters, increasing the number of sanctuaries for coastal marine life. Explore the local lifestyle or how preserving mangrove forest results in better ecological system.
